Born from the desire to help marginalized communities in the Kenyan slums, Grain of Rice Project is dedicated to achieving its mission of empowering Kenyans through education and training initiatives in Jesus’s name. Their artisan workshop provides job training and dignified wages to their artisan team, enabling them to better provide for their families. In 2020, Grain of Rice Project opened a primary boarding school serving grades preschool-8 where they're able to provide equality for all students through a hands-on, literacy-based education that is infused with both STEM practices and the arts. Their approach is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to education and training opportunities that can help break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for all.
